How To Change An Application User’s Password Without Logging Into Project Managment or Methodology Management
Perform the following steps from a workstation hosting the Client Applications (Project Management or Methodology Management), to reconfigure a user’s password: 1. Launch the Database Configuration wizard from Start Programs, Primavera, Help and Utilities 2. At the Welcome Screen, select Next. 3. Select Administration Tasks, then select Next: 4. Select Change Application Users Password, then
Perform the following steps from a workstation hosting the Client Applications (Project Management or Methodology Management), to reconfigure a user’s password:
1. Launch the Database Configuration wizard from Start Programs, Primavera, Help and Utilities
2. At the Welcome Screen, select Next.
3. Select Administration Tasks, then select Next:
4. Select Change Application Users Password, then select Next.
5. Select the Project Management or Methodology Management radio button (depending on which application this instruction is used for), and the alias from the drop-down menu
which has been preconfigured to connect to the respected database. When complete, select Next.
6. Enter the private database login for the database (default: privuser for both the username and password fields), then select Next.
7. At the Change Application Password window:
Select the username from the Application Username dropdown menu whose password needs to be changed, then enter a new password in the new password and
confirmation fields, and click Next.
If successful a Password Changed message will display. Select OK to close the message and select Finish to close the Database Configuration Wizard.
