Auto Compute Actuals helps you to update your project if it has followed according to your baseline plan.

How?

• Calculates your actuals based on Activity Percentage Complete
• Can be applied at 3 areas; 1) Activity level, 2) Resource level  and 3) Expense level.

Why is used?

• To demonstrate project what if everything went as planned
• Used to estimate progress

Steps:

Open a Project that you wish to Compute Actuals based on your baseline.

Go to the Activity table and bring out the column “Auto Compute Actuals” and check the boxes as shown.

Once ready, go to Tool and select “Apply Actuals”

and change the Data Date to future period for example “25-Jan-2010”

and click Apply.

Walla !!! here we are with the Project progress updated as planned.
